Incorporated in Denver, Colorado, in 2003, Response Records is the flagship of an
umbrella of companies designed specifically for true artists to thrive, grow, and partner
in most facets of the music industry seamlessly, within a family environment, and without
compromise of their art. We facilitate production, design, (online, radio, print)
marketing, and (online, in-store, digital) distribution for artists in fairness and
in honesty. In association with Response Entertainment, Response Marketing, and Response
Publishing, we offer artists strategic placement on our tours and events, as well as
provide full service merchandising and publishing.
We believe music to be the most important element of our society. It moves us, shapes us, defines us, inspires us… our life revolves around music! As our world becomes more commercialized, we feel that it is imperative that independent music is not buried under the vast resources and power of the major label mainstream and is preserved and promoted in unique and prolific ways. Each year the talent bar seems to drop lower, with exceptions, of course, and, as each generation is marketed a cheaper imitation of a dated formula, our art, the representation of our existence, declines. We at Response Records believe that it is our duty to fight the decline, to promote a variety of talented musicians and events in a positive manner; one which inspires the next generation to create something original and meaningful. We believe in the cultural significance of the history of music and realize that this generation is in need of a response… |
